About Miss Candid!
Miss "CANdid" herself, is a vintage "CANNED Ham" camper manufactured by Layton and was born in 1959 in Elkhart Indiana! Most of Miss Candid's history is a mysterious secret that she has yet to reveal. However, due to her scars and battle wounds we are certain she was loved and enjoyed much of her early years of life! What she has shared with us so far, was that she spent over the last 10 years in Northern Michigan as a cozy hunting blind! Oh Deer! Miss Candid did not know it at the time of adoption, but there was a shared vision of her to become something special. After a short (kinda...) 6-month restoration in the garage of her new home, she got a much-needed face-lift from the frame up! The charming exterior and interior with her neutral, clean, modern yet classy design is the vision of Candid's Mother, Morgan Bradley, and the sweat of the father, Charles Bradley. However, Miss Candid's siblings all played a role in the renovation!
The Why!
The short and sweet was to offer something new, fun, and unique that we as family could offer to our guests! We recognized a gap in the high cost of basic and boring black curtain photobooths and wanted to be able to offer more! As a start-up business this also allowed us to take this opportunity to instill learning opportunities of some of what it takes to run a business within our littles. Our oldest daughter Charleigh, middle son Oakley, and little guy Remington have all already played roles in the restoration and will continue to play roles in the upkeep of Candid Camper. This is our family's "why" and we hope to have Candid Camper at your next event!
